My lovely wife Jan and I have been delighted to be part of the GCNA ever since we had our Pulte home built in 1993. I still remember the fields and empty lots as homes were being built when we moved here.
I was born in Jersey City, NJ; grew up in the Pittsburgh area, and lived in Chicago before moving to Texas in 1987. I’m a veteran and an alumnus of Penn State and Northwestern Universities. Although I expected to stay here only a couple years, I quickly grew to love Texas, the terrific people and the positive environment. Jan is originally from Atlanta; we met through a mutual friend and have been married since 1991. I worked for American Airlines for 24 years, and now work from home for American Express Business Travel Consulting.
Although Jan and I have not been blessed with children, I relish my role as the favorite uncle and enjoy visits from our nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. You probably have seen me and/or Jan walking our dogs around the neighborhood. Over the years we’ve had Huskies, an Australian Shepherd and now a German Shepherd.
I am honored to be a part of our neighborhood association and treasure the many neighbors we’ve met over the years who have made this a great place to live.
My husband Stuart and I have lived in the area since 2013. We have three amazing children in the school system, and a Boxer named Molly. We started out in the Saybrooke subdivision, and then bought our next home in Glade Crossing in 2016. My husband is originally from Grapevine, and I have lived in the DFW Metroplex since 2004. I graduated from Texas A&M and my husband from Baylor. We both have business degrees and worked in corporate retail. I am now a REALTOR® with Ebby Halliday and enjoy helping others in many capacities, so am looking forward to helping the neighborhood through my role on the board!
We love this area and especially this neighborhood! I grew up in Galveston, TX and was used to a more small-town feel. I love that in the middle of the DFW Metroplex, there is a city like Grapevine, conveniently located with a large population, but still has elements of that small-town feel. Glade Crossing has a special vibe and so many great amenities, people, and location. I look forward to meeting all of you along the way! Please feel free to reach out to me if you ever have questions or needs in regards to the neighborhood, board, or anything at all!
