My name is Megan Vollmer and I am the Maintenance Chair for Glade Crossing Neighborhood Association. I am in need of volunteers from ages 14-adult that are responsible, punctual, and trustworthy for two community service projects. We will be happy to sign for community service hours for any students that need a record of hours worked.
1. Project American Flag: Volunteers will place and then pick up American Flags in the front yards of participating GCNA homeowners on 6-7 national holidays. Volunteers do not have to sign up for every holiday and can choose either an AM and/or PM shift. We need both drivers and non-driving volunteers. Please contact me at 817-913-6401 or email me at for more details.
2. GCNA Beautification Project: This project can be tailored to your community service hours needs. You can volunteer anywhere from 1-2 hours on a Saturday helping to plant in GCNA flower beds or you can take on the task of "owning" a GCNA flower bed and design, organize, and install a community flower bed. (All expenses must be approved before purchase, but will be reimbursed upon completion of the project.) Please contact me at 817-913-6401 or email me at for more information.
If you know of someone who would be interested, send me an email with their contact information ASAP and I'll contact them directly!
